Everblue Training Institute and Electric & Gas Industries Association Partner to Grow Green Collar Workforce

Everblue, a national building science training institution, and Electric & Gas Industries Association (EGIA), a national non-profit contractor association, are partnering to support contractors transitioning and expanding into building performance and comprehensive building science based solutions. This partnership provides the business support services, sales and marketing training, and industry networking to contractors. Performance Partners deliver building science training to students, energy auditors and raters, and building contractors. EGIA will provide an array of programs, services and tools designed to help building improvement and building performance, HVAC, solar and wind, photovoltaic and insulation contractors increase profitable sales and reduce operational costs associated with delivery of energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. Building contractor benefits available through this new partnership include: 

  • EGIA Leadership Academy web-based and in-person business development training in financial management, sales and marketing management, industry best-practices and other topics that augment Everblue’s existing technical training.

Everblue is a veteran owned organization specializing in providing intense green jobs training for federal, state and local governments, contractors, owners, operators, architects, and engineers. With about twenty full-time employees, and fifty contract instructors, Everblue now teaches about 25,000 students per year, combining both classroom and online, and all-online courses. Everblue currently partners with 90 schools and trade associations to deliver its coursework nationwide.
