Justin Riege joins the company as a Solar PV Bootcamp instructor for the Venture, CA area. Riege has been designing and installing solar photovoltaic systems since 2007.

Everblue Training Institute is excited to announce the recent hire of solar instructor Justin Riege. Riege is certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Professionals (NABCEP) and has 15 years of contracting experience.

“I chose Everblue because of their reputation and because I believe in their mission as an organization,” Riege said. “I have a deep respect for the company culture and for the founders.”

Before coming to Everblue, Riege spent the last six years in solar project management and sales. He designed, sold, and installed residential grid-tiered solar photovoltaic systems. Riege also served as the primary speaker for the annual “Intro to Solar” seminar, designed to share information about solar energy advances with the local community.

Reige’s experience and passion make him a great addition to Everblue’s solar instructor workforce. As an instructor, Reige will teach solar bootcamp courses designed to teach students a curriculum based on the entry level learning objectives of the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). The course includes lessons about electrical and mechanical design, system sizing, safety, and finance.

“I am a passionate advocate for renewable energy and sustainable living,” he said. “My broad understanding of the solar business will help me to educate aspiring installers as well as those who seek other supportive roles in the solar industry such as design, administration, or sales.”

Construction is an area of particular significance to Reige, as he funded his own college education by managing multiple construction projects. While working for Coastal Constructors in Ojai, CA, Reige served as a foreman, providing jobsite supervision and project planning guidance.

In addition to his managerial and technical experience, Riege is also skilled in electrical work, plumbing, and mechanical work. He has experience drafting proposals for projects valued up to $200,000. Riege earned his Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts and sciences, with a minor in business management, and has completed training in California fire guidelines and photovoltaic systems.

Riege enjoys spending his spare time working on electric vehicle conversions, wakeboarding, camping, and freelance writing for the Venture Breeze.
