UPDATE (10/17/2013): Intercaz software is no longer included in all of our BPI classes. For more information, please call us at 1-800-460-2575.

Everblue is excited to announce a partnership with Interplay that will allow Everblue BPI Building Analyst and Envelope Professional students to use Intercaz for free during the course. Intercaz is a hands-on online simulation program that provides students with experience relating to home energy audits. One of the software’s strongest features involves combustion safety, which is the most important part of the BPI Building Analyst field test. Currently, BPI requires that students make at least an 85 percent on the combustion component in order to pass the field exam.

Everblue is the sole national partner of Interplay Energy and the only BPI training provider to offer Intercaz in the classroom. The software will allow Everblue’s students to gain a solid understanding of the home energy audit process and ensure greater success in the course as well as the workforce.

As aforementioned, Intercaz will be included for free to the students in the BPI certification course for the duration of the one-week course. Everblue students (current and prior) along with non-Everblue students have the option of purchasing a subscription. Everblue currently offers the software in three different packages: 1-week, 1-month, and 1-year, priced at $85, $105, and $249 respectively, and discounts are available for current and prior students. If you are looking for the best value, our 1-year package offers both extended service and 10 continuing education credits!

In preparing individuals for the BPI exam, Intercaz offers the following:

• Self-paced learning

• Provides immediate feedback on tasks

• Measurable results using the field training scoring system

• Online simulation software for interactive learning

• Ample opportunities for home energy audit practice

For more information on the software and subscription plans, please visit our Intercaz Combustion Safety Training page.
