We're happy to congratulate our LEED training partners in Florida on the newly merged USGBC Florida Chapter! You can visit our friends at their new website here:

If you're looking for information about LEED, visit our LEED Certification overview series.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) created the LEED standards in 1993 as a way to encourage environmentally friendly building strategies and techniques.

The USGBC works toward a mission of market transformation through its:

  • LEED green building certification program
  • the annual Greenbuild International Conference & Expo
  • nationwide network of chapters and affiliates

The previous Chapters in the Sunshine State are now Regions tucked under the USGBC Florida umbrella -- Central Florida, Florida Capital, Florida Gulf Coast, Heart of Florida, Northeast Florida, Northern Gulf Coast, and South Florida. Visit all Regions at
