NYSERDA Provides Reimbursement to Area Residents of New York

Residents of New York may qualify for reimbursement for industry certification exams through multiple grant programs through NYSERDA. NYSERDA will provide partial reimbursement to individuals upon successful completion of several nationally recognized credentials. Programs eligible for partial reimbursement include:

  • BPI Building Analyst
  • BPI Envelope Professional 
  • BPI Infiltration & Duct Leakage
  • NABCEP PV Installation Professional

To apply for this program, applicants must qualify by presenting:

  • Proof of payment for certification courses and exams.
  • Proof of certification received.
  • Copy of recent utility bill (Showing proof of residency in one of the following utility service areas: Central Hudson, Con Edison, New York State Electric & Gas, National Grid, Orange & Rockland, and Rochester Gas and Electric, LIPA, and/or NYPA).

Funding for this program is provided through the Energy Efficiency Portfolio Standard (EEPS) and the Green Jobs Green New York (GJGNY) Program. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. In addition, Everblue staff members are available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm EST to assist residents in completing the application for NYSERDA.
