World Renewable Energy Forum 2012 Recap

The American Solar Energy Society's National Solar Conference was held along with the biennial World Renewable Energy Conference. The combined event was the World Renewable Energy Forum 2012. Guest speakers at the event included: Steven Chu, secretary of energy for the U.S. Department of Energy; Dan Arvizu, director of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory; and Dorothy Robyn, deputy under secretary of defense for installations and environment for the U.S. Department of Defense.Projected job growth and environmental health were some of the topics they highlighted in their speeches.

Everblue attended the conference to highlight the solar training program. As the number one trainer in the United States, Everblue has recognized the growing renewable energy job market and has developed training courses to assist people with enhancing their skills and marketability. Many of those attending the conference took an interest in how people can become a solar installer, learn about solar grants and marketing, and learn about solar heating. In its 41st year, the American Solar Energy Society offers the most comprehensive annual educational conference on renewable energy in the United States. With such a rapidly growing and evolving industry, it is important to stay ahead of the game.
