Course Recommendations

Q: I am interested in the solar field, but I don’t have any experience. Where do I begin?

A: The NABCEP PV Associate Exam Prep course is a great place to start. This introductory course covers the fundamentals of solar energy, electricity, and design and installation of solar panels. The entry-level PV Associate class is available online and qualifies you to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Associate Exam (formerly called the NABCEP Entry Level Exam).

Q: I am interested in becoming a solar installation contractor. What class do you recommend?

A: The NABCEP PV Associate Training is the recommended first course, as it covers the vital foundation for understanding solar photovoltaics (PV). This training will instantly qualify you for the entry-level NABCEP PV Associate exam. From there, you will have a much better understanding of solar and will feel very confident joining an advanced solar installation class. Everblue's Advanced Solar Training is available in person and online and will teach you how to physically install solar panels. If you're looking for a fast-track to certification, we'd recommend the NABCEP PV Installation Professional Exam Prep package, which includes the entry-level PV Associate Training, the Advanced Solar Installation Training, and more!

Q: What solar training courses do you offer?

A: Everblue has three solar training courses available: the entry-level NABCEP PV Associate Training, Advanced Solar Training, and Solar Design & Sales. When you combine all three together, and add OSHA 10 Construction Safety, you get our NABCEP PV Installation Professional Exam Prep package!
