This Advanced Solar PV training course is designed to teach individuals how to physically install solar panels, modules, and components. Students will be constructing an actual array on a roof deck rack and installing the balance of components, including inverters, charge controllers, and battery banks for grid-tied and off-grid systems. This hands-on solar training course will provide you with the skills required to work for an installer or to work toward becoming a Solar Contractor yourself. In addition, you will be on your way toward qualifying to take the NABCEP PV Installation Professional Exam. We want to help meet the growing demand for solar PV installers!
Prerequisite (included): As a prerequisite for this advanced course, NABCEP requires each student to complete one of the following: 40 hours of PV training, successful completion of the NABCEP PV Entry Level Exam, or one year documented PV experience. Everblue’s Entry Level Solar PV Training has been approved by NABCEP to fulfill the 40-hour educational requirement and is included in this course. Format: This 5-day course (40 hours) is available only in live settings, due to the hands-on nature of the training. This is an Advanced level training course accredited by IREC.
