Chris Erdt Joins the Everblue Sustainability and Solar Training Teams

Erdt will begin shadowing the inside sales team and is expected to hold the roles of part-time instructor, inside sales representative, and program specialist.


Everblue Training Institute is pleased to announce the acquisition of Chris Erdt for the sustainability and solar training teams.

“We are excited to have him join the team,” said Mike Murphy, one of Everblue’s recruiters. “Chris brings a diverse background with experience in the Air Force, the banking industry, as well as solar installation and communications expertise.”

Erdt just completed a six-year commitment with the U.S. Air Force Reserves in Tampa, FL, where he was a Radio Frequency Technician. In this position, Erdt maintained and repaired standard radio frequency devices, ground-based satellites, and encryption transmission devises in fixed and deployed environments. He also established circuits and configured network connectivity. Erdt earned the distinction of Distinguished Honor Graduate from Basic Military Training.

Other attributes that appealed to Everblue’s recruiting staff were Erdt’s experiences abroad and familiarity with financial processes. In 2006, Erdt studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, where his concentration was Spanish language, history, and culture. After graduating from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY, Erdt gained experience working at both Citigroup and Bank of America.

The well-traveled veteran served as a liaison between bank and clients to resolve mortgage issues and avoid foreclosure proceedings when possible. He analyzed client financials and developed appropriate plans to maintain mortgage, including structured payment plans, governmental program enrollment, and short sales.

Prior to his work at Everblue, Erdt worked as a field technician for Vislink Services. His job was to conduct on-site client need assessments for microwave radio and antenna installations, as well as outlining project scopes, creating bid proposals, managing equipment inventories, completing installation, and performing final system testing. These technical skills have prepared Erdt for his pending roles at Everblue.
