Everblue Takes Home Two Stevies at 2013 American Business Awards

Winners presented awards at event in Chicago June 17

Everblue was presented with a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Best Brand Experience category and Everblue's Marketing Analyst Peter Bock was presented with a Silver Stevie® in the Marketer of the Year category at the 11th Annual American Business Awards in Chicago June 17. The award of best brand experience celebrated the work surrounding the grand opening of Everblue's green training facility earlier this year.

"A true asset to our team, Peter works hard and displays leadership qualities in every facet of his work. He's very deserving of this award, and I'm proud to have him representing Everblue,” said Lesley Cowie, Everblue’s marketing manager. “I'm also very gracious and humbled to be working for a company that places alongside NASCAR for Best Brand Experience. I'd really like to thank Ryan Bennett, John Costello, Teal Brown, and Vince DiFrancesco for their roles in making Everblue's green training facility grand opening a truly memorable experience for the community, students, and Everblue employees alike."

A premier business awards program, the American Business Awards accepts nominations from any organization operating in the U.S. – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

More than 3,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others. Stevie® Award winners were selected by more than 320 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process this year.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the trophies were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on June 17 at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park Hotel. More than 500 nominees and their guests attended.

“This year’s American Business Awards was outsized in every way,” said Michael Gallagher, Stevie® Awards founder and president. “More entries and more judges than ever before, and I’d have to say the most impressive collection of nominations we’ve ever received. We congratulate all of this year’s Stevie® winners for their outstanding work.”
