You've heard that a new version of LEED was scheduled to launch in June 2014. The USGBC has now released a date.

The last day to take the credential exams with LEED v2009 (also known as version 3) content will be June 15, 2014. The first day to take the exams with the new LEED v4 content will be June 30, 2014. In the past, some organizations that worked hard to design and build green buildings opted not to pursue LEED Certification. There’s been a lot of debate as to whether or not green jobs have staying power in a down economy. What makes green jobs more sustainable (forgive the pun) than regular jobs? The largest reason why green industries remain attractive in times of downturn is the sheer fact that energy efficiency and renewable energy both result in cost savings and resilience in the face of rising costs.
