NABCEP to Update its Solar Sales JTA in 2019

The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (or NABCEP) has announced its plans to implement an updated Job Task Analysis (JTA) for the advanced PV Technical Sales Certification Exam.

What this means is that NABCEP reviewed the tasks and knowledge areas that they expect of certified solar sales professionals and updated the information to reflect this fast-growing industry.

Pennsylvania Adopts Energy Rating Index Option

The state of Pennsylvania recently upgraded its residential energy code from the 2009 version to the 2015. The new state code represents at least a 28% efficiency improvement. NJ Home Energy Rebates Extended

City of Tallahassee Utilities recently announced a $2,000 energy efficiency rebate as part of its New Homes Program. In addition to encouraging energy-efficient new construction, the New Homes Program will likely lead to a high demand for certified RESNET HERS Raters in the Florida Panhandle.
