Are there any interest or fees associated with Everblue's financing option?
Loans vary between 10% and 30% APR simple interest. The corresponding finance charge is the only fee associated with a loan - there are no late fees, service fees, prepayment fees, or any other hidden fees.
Do you perform a credit check?
Yes, when you first create an account with Affirm, they perform a "soft" credit check to help verify your identity and determine your eligibility for financing. This "soft" credit check will not affect your credit score.
Will Affirm let me know if I was accepted?
Yes, Affirm has messaging to let users know whether they were accepted and reasons why they were not accepted. Possible reasons for not getting accepted into low credit score, unable to verify user's identity, unable to connect bank account, or a security freeze on a user's credit report. While these instances are not very common, Affirm will provide explicit messaging and guidance toward a resolution.
Do Credit Unions count?
Affirm is currently unable to accept Credit Unions as Bank Accounts.
