If you're looking to take your knowledge of LEED a step further, consider enrolling in our LEED Green Associate Exam Prep course. This will put you in a concentrated environment to learn about the LEED credits and prepare for the LEED Green Associate exam.
Hi,
I worked in residential property management for a year at one of the first LEED certified apartment communities in DC. Does that classify as experience in a LEED certified project?
Thank you!
Yes, this experience will count for LEED experience. If you're looking to take the LEED Green Associate exam and earn a LEED credential, I would recommend participating in a LEED Exam Prep course so you can learn all the academic concepts that will be on the exam.
Dear Sir,
I have completed my LEED - GA Exam Preparatory course here in QATAR by last year 2010 April.
Is it possible to take the LEED GA Exams now?
Is there any changes will be there between last year and current year in the study book since Ihave the USGBC guide released in the year 2009/2010.
Is there any major changes in the text book or can I continue with the same this book to appear my LEED GA Exams in QATAR now?
Thanks
Subbu
As we do not provide the USGBC book for our students (we have in-house course material) we cannot vouch for whether this is suitable for the exam. However, since it has been some time, we do recommend you invest in some Everblue course material to ensure you are fully prepared and up to date on what you need for the exam.
I am a flooring contractor in Las Vegas Nevada.
By taking this 2 day course and if I, when I pass the exam, does this help me to bid on LEED projects or is there more to it?
joey
Yes, once you have completed our course and passed the exam you will be equipped to to bid on LEED projects. What you will learn from taking the LEED Green Associate exam is the LEED credentialling process and all the factors that need to be taken into consideration when constructing a LEED certified building.

My husband and I are currently enrolled in a local community college, studying Renewable Energy. Because the school is so new to the field we don't believe we are getting the education we are entitled to. We are reaching out to as many resources to provide us with proper guidance. We are enrolled in the August Webinar course with Ever Blue, please let me know what this can do for my husband and I as far as career. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Melissa and Dennis, any information may also be sent to my email.
Hello Melissa and Dennis and thank you for your questions.
There are several career paths you can utilize your knowledge of LEED for. Typically, someone already in the construction industry (such as an architect or contractor) will use LEED to enhance their knowledge and offer their customer more services. For those new to the industry, many professionals choose to become LEED consultants to manage the LEED process on a building. To discuss this in more detail, please give us a call at 800 460 2575.
The 500 practice questions are accessed online in your own Everblue account. By having them online, you will get hands on experience on not only the content, but the exam structure as your LEED exam will also be on a computer.
Hi, my experience includes Design Development for a LEED project that went to design build in a subsequent contract. Does this experience qualify under LEED AP requirements, in addition to obtaining the LEED GA certificate?
Provided that you feel confident about the LEED Green Associate concepts, you can take that exam. To qualify for the LEED AP exam, you have to first pass the LEED Green Associate exam.
Im interested to take the LEED course. Since I am residing here in Abu Dhabi, may I know if the course is offered here? Possibly, how much it will cost me?
At the time of this posting, we do not currently offer LEED training in UAE. However, we have 2 amazing online formats where you can follow along with the same curriculum from the comfort and convenience of your home!
Hi,
I have a degree in interior design, I want to focus my career in green design. Is the LEED GA certification right for me? I have no work experience in this field. So can I still take up the exam? Am I eligible for the certification exam?
Mrs. Diaz
The LEED Green Associate is a fantastic way to transition to sustainable design and construction. Many of our students are interior designers and use their LEED credential to add to their qualifications. It is perfectly fine that you do not have prior experience. Our LEED Green Associate course not only will prepare you thoroughly for the exam, it will qualify you to take the LEED Green Associate exam.
Hi,
I took LEED GA course in february 2010 however I had to study for other exams and I couldn't take the exam so now my application has expired. Since I'm ready now to take the exam and I'm also going to take some prep test from you can I reapply with the same certificate or do they require new certificate?
You can still use our certificate to register for the exam, but we highly recommend refreshing your studies as it has been over a year since you have had your training. For $99 you can purchase an on-demand webinar and 90 days access to our practice questions. To purchase, you will need to call us at 800 460 2575.
I am interested in taking the preparation course from your company for the LEED Green Associate exam. Do I need to apply for this exam through the USGBC first before taking the course? Or can I just register and this application process will be addressed during the course.
Thank you for asking a great question. You should actually start with the LEED Green Associate course which comes with a certificate of exam eligibility. Additionally, at the end of the program we will provide you with detailed LEED exam registration instructions.
Hi,
I'm an architect and I want to take the LEED Green associate exam but I don't have any LEED register project involve so far, can I take even without it?

I was part of the webinar that concluded on 5-11-11. I took and passed my GA exam yesterday on the 1st try. Although the wording in the exam is much different than I expected, I could never have even imagined passing this exam with out everblue course.
Thanks

I do not have any experience working on LEED certified projects, however I do have experience working on LEED Certifiable projects. Could these count as project experience once I am ready to move up to the LEED AP level?
Hello,
Thank you for your question. Your experience working on LEED projects will be valuable, however it is most important for your LEED exam success that you intimately understand the concepts that will be on your LEED exam. Our LEED Green Associate Exam Prep course is designed to teach you exactly what you need to know to ace the exam.
Hello, I need a certificate of completion for LEED Green Associate Exam eligibility - I would like to take the on-demand webinars since my schedule is a bit sporadic; however, the on-demand webinar description has the following clause:
"If you require a certificate of completion for LEED Green Associate Exam eligibility, we recommend taking a live classroom or live online LEED Green Associate Exam Prep training course."
It says it is "recommended" taking a live course - does that mean it is still possible to take the on-demand webinar and receive the certificate of eligibility?
It is possible to take the on demand webinar and receive a certificate of completion as we can track the student's viewing of the course and verify that a student completed the training. However, we recommend live classroom or webinar training because it is more interactive and allows students to ask questions regarding the material.
Hi Everblue,
I am into landscape maintenance, where I am maintaining a park and one residential complex. I want to be a Leed AP, but I really don't know the right path. Is it necessary to be a Leed Green Associate first? Should I go for Operations and Maintenance or Landscape Architecture? Can I take exam in Saudi Arabia? Please guide me; I shall be very thankful to you.
The LEED Green Associate exam is the first required exam that every student must take, so this is what you will want to start with. We offer online training formats for you to learn the materials. You can also take the exam in Saudi Arabia, at the Prometric test facility.

Our LEED Green Associate training will not only prepare you for the exam, but it will qualify you to take it! Our course is specially designed for those who have little to no LEED experience. This is a great way to get into the sustainable industry as LEED is the most widely practiced process for sustainable design and construcion.

There is no time requirement to pass the LEED AP exam after you have earned your LEED Green Associate. You will have to take credential maintenance 2 years after earning your LEED Green Associate, however, to maintain the credential. It may be in your best interest to move up to the LEED AP level before that time since the LEED AP would satisfy that need for credential maintenance.
Hi Everblue,
I'm more interested in having a LEED AP certification. The fact that I don't have LEED certified project, if I pass LEED GA, can I take LEED AP examination using LEED GA certifications as a requirements in taking exam?
