LEED AP CMP Continuing Education

Hello, I am a LEED AP BD+C. If I register for LEED AP CMP ($399) Live Webinars or online, do I get a full 30 CE hours credit, including the 6 hours of LEED-Specific hours? If yes, how long usually does it take to complete the whole 30 hours CE hours?

LEED AP CMP Continuing Education

Submitted by teal_brown

Raj,

Thank you for your inquiry. The answer is yes, you will receive all of the 30 required CE hours (including the 6 LEED-specific) by taking the LEED AP CMP Program. To complete the course you will want to allow time for the 30 hours of material as well as the time it takes to answer the quizzes that accompany each module. I would recommend allowing 40 hours to complete the process.

Thanks,
Teal B.

Hello. I'm very interested in your online CMP program(LEED BD+C). I should finish CMP program all 30 hours until July 21, 2012. Can I do it through your one program during about 8-9 months?

Hello and thank you for your question.

With the ability to view pre-recorded sessions of CMP, you will certainly be able to complete this training before your July due date! We do recommend you begin soon so you are not rushed to finish.

Hi, My LEED GA Credential expires December 21 2011, I am wondering if I still have time to your LEED GA CMP ? Thanks Antonio

Time for LEED CMP

Submitted by Bana@Everblue

Hello Antonio and thank you for your question.

Our LEED CMP Green Associate program is completely on-demand and students find it very convenient. As soon as you register for the course you have access to the program immediately. There is a guide in the course to help you submit your CMP hours to the GBCI as well and you can submit those classes one at a time as you are completing them, which is what I suggest as their online system can get bogged down and with your hours being at the end of the year.

Thank you,
Bana

Monthly Webinars?

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified)

Where do I find the free 2-hour monthly LEED BD+C webinars as advertised in the GBCI Course Catalog? Thank you.

Monthly Webinars?

Submitted by Bana@Everblue

Hello and thank you for your question. With the requirements for course submittal as well as the GBCI now being responsible for the course catalog instead of the USGBC, there has been some confusion.

We offer a 15 hour for Green Associates package or a 30 hour for LEED AP (BD+C or O+M) package for CMP hours. However, I will let you know in advance that we do not offer any free programs and therefore again apologize for any confusion on our part.

We hope that for our next program offering that we will be able to sell the modules individually as opposed to the entire package.

Please let me know if I can be of additional assistance.

Thanks,
Bana

Taking LEED AP and CMP

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified)

I took and passed the LEED GA exam in April of 2010 and have not yet taken and passed a specific LEED AP exam. I have to take a specific LEED AP exam by January 10, 2012. If I take and pass a specific LEED AP exam by this date, do I still need all the continuing education credits for the LEED GA or because I pass the LEED AP exam does that mean that because I am now considered a LEED AP then a new "session" or two year period starts and I now have 2 years to gain the appropriate amount of contuing education?

I am just trying to pass a LEED AP exam before the two years is up for my LEED GA and want to make sure that once I pass a LEED AP exam that I will be alright and won't have to retake the LEED GA exam. Thanks for any information that might be helpful.

-Brad

Taking LEED AP and CMP

Submitted by Bana@Everblue

Hello Brad and thank you for your question.

As long as you take and pass your LEED exam by April 2012 for the AP exam, he will not need to take CMP hours towards the GA. Once you pass your AP exam, you will have two years to get your 30 CMP hours in from that new AP exam passing date.

Thank you,
Bana

I believe you have already answered this question, but I have to have 30 hours by 8-9-11. If I sign up for the LEED CMP 30 hour program, I will be able to use your on demand classes to acquire my hours before this deadline, correct?

Hello Sam,

That is correct! You can use on demand webinars (which are included) to complete your hours in time for your deadline.

LEED GA Credential Maintenance

I successfully passed the Green Associate examination in April 2010. Is my memory correct that I have to complete my Credential Maintenance before April 2012? If so I will certainly enroll in the GA CMP program (the GA Test Prep I attended plus the study materials were excellent)

The best thing to do is contact the GBCI in ensure you know your exact due date for credential maintenance. It is important that you complete your 15 hours before then.

I am interested in registering for the LEED Credential Maintenance package. I took the LEED NC exam prior to June 2009. I wonder what package I should take to fulfill all the credential requirement before June 20. Also, I am living in Hong Kong. How would I take the online classes considering there is time difference?

In Need of Hours by September

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified)

I am a LEED AP and need to obtain the Prescriptive Credential Maintenance Hours by Sept. 15, 2011. I have CPEs for PE renewals and am currently working on 2 LEED projects, however when looking at the requirements for BD+C I am finding it not only confusing but unable to meet the requirements in the areas required with out retaking the exam.

Do you have a program I can complete and get 30 hour requirements in BD+C by Sept. 15, 2011.

CMP Live Training

Submitted by Mahnaz Niazi (not verified)

I am a LEED Greeen Associate and wondering if the $299 would be the cost for the live webinar and if so when is the dates and what time. Thanks

CMP Live Training

Submitted by Bana@Everblue

Hello Mahnaz,

Thank you for your question. This CMP course fulfills your 15 required hours of LEED credentials for a LEED Green Associate. This is not live webinar training, therefore you can view these courses at your leisure. The moment you register, you gain access to all 15 hours of teaching. To track your viewing, Everblue requires you complete an exam after each 2-hour module. When completed, you will be able to submit these hours to the USGBC.

Thank you,
Bana
